What does this job involve?
This job involves teaching English online to Chinese children (ages 3–15) in an interactive virtual classroom.
Do you offer adult classes?
The main focus is on children. In limited cases, a small number of adult classes may be assigned.
If you are only interested in teaching adults, please do not apply.
How are the classes conducted?
Most classes are 1-on-1 (individual).
In some cases, small group classes are also held.
Are teaching materials provided?
Yes, all lesson materials and class structures are provided.
How is the salary calculated?
Salary is calculated per 25-minute class, and it varies based on:
- The number of classes
- Your Demo Session performance
- $2.5 to $3.5 per 25 minutes
- Equivalent to approximately $5–$7 per hour
How is the monthly salary calculated?
Your monthly income depends on the total number of classes you teach in one month .
How are payments made?
Payments are made regularly:
Weekly payments via: Wechat Pay
Monthly payments via:
- PayPal
- Payoneer
- Bank transfer
What happens if a student does not attend the class?
If a student does not attend, the class is still considered completed, and you will receive full payment.
What are the working hours?
- Peak hours: 18:00–21:00 China time (weekday evenings)
- You can also open slots from 16:00 China time (non-peak hours)
- Weekends are active
On weekends, you can open slots starting from:
- 08:00 A.M China time (Saturday & Sunday)
Summer schedule:
- During summer, students are available throughout the day
- You can open slots from 08:00 to 22:00 China time (daily)
- Peak hours remain 18:00–21:00 China time
Minimum requirement:
You must be available during peak hours (18:00–21:00 China time) at least 4 days per week
Can I choose my own schedule?
Yes. You can open your available time slots, and students will book based on your schedule.
Are students fixed or do they change?
Students may vary, but with good performance, you can build regural student base over time.
What happens if I don’t get bookings?
The number of bookings depends on:
- Your availability (opened slots)
- Your teaching quality
- Your interaction with students
If you are not getting enough bookings, we will provide additional training and guidance to help you improve your performance and increase your chances of getting booked.
Is a TEFL/TESOL certificate required?
It is not required, but it is considered an advantage and is used for level evaluation.

Can I open and close my teaching slots?
Yes, you’re free to open and close your slots as long as no student has booked that specific time. However, if you close a peak-hour slot, you’re expected to open another peak-hour slot in return to maintain availability for students.
What should I do if I need to change a slot for a regular student?
Once a student books a regular slot, we recommend keeping that time available for at least one month to ensure consistency and better learning progress.
If you need to change or stop a regular slot, please inform us in advance. We will help coordinate with the student and make the necessary arrangements.
What are the cancellation rules?
Teachers: Cancelling less than 4 hours before class is generally not allowed. In such cases, the teacher may be asked to provide a free replacement class to the student, and the class may be deducted from the total payment
Students/Parents: Cancellations are not allowed within 4 hours before class
We understand that emergencies can happen, and we will always try to be supportive in such situations,However, being responsible and consistent is very important to ensure a smooth learning experience for students
Can I terminate the cooperation?
Yes, However you must give one month’s prior notice
